Company Brief
Plastica International was founded in 2010 with the purpose of manufacturing engineering plastic products for the Sri Lankan market, domestically. In 2012, the company was incorporated as a limited liability company under the name Plastica International (Private) Limited in collaboration with foreign partners, however, the company is now 100% Sri Lankan owned and operated. Led by a dynamic and visionary team, headed by two passionate Directors, the company has grown rapidly.
During 2013 and 2014, the company invested heavily to set up its state-of-the-art, ultramodern, CNC driven production facility in accordance with international standards and best practices. This cemented Plastica International’s reputation with customers as a development-oriented company and created a huge demand for domestically produced plastic products, as these were cheaper and often of a higher quality than similar imported products.
In 2019, Plastica International became the 1st and only company in Sri Lanka to own and operate a WHO (World Health Organization) certified, GMP standard plastic medical device manufacturing facility, domestically. Today, Plastica International is Sri Lanka’s leading and most respected diversified manufacturer of plastic products including engineering plastic, medical plastic products, garment accessories, automobile & safety equipment, custom designed precision plastic products and general plastic products.
In the future, Plastica International intends to continue investing in state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology, the skills of their people, sustainable business practices and to continue to provide Sri Lankans with the highest quality plastic products that meet or exceed international standards.

Having begun our journey in this sector, we at Plastica International, have many years of experience and professional expertise with engineering plastic products. Using world class plastic injection technology, we have grown into a market leader in this area.
