In 2012, the company was incorporated as a limited liability company under the name Plastica International (Private) Limited in collaboration with foreign partners, however, the company is now 100% Sri Lankan owned and operated. Led by a dynamic and visionary team, headed by two passionate Directors, the company has grown rapidly.
During 2013 and 2014, the company invested heavily to set up its state-of-the-art, ultramodern, CNC driven production facility in accordance with international standards and best practices. This cemented Plastica International’s reputation with customers as a development-oriented company and created a huge demand for domestically produced plastic products, as these were cheaper and often of a higher quality than similar imported products.
